“So it’s been just two months since I started my franchise and I have to say I’m loving my new job! I have several classes a week already and three more potential classes following successful meetings over the past few weeks. My business (it still feels funny to call it that!) is going really well, better than I expected if I am honest. I have had visits from head office observations on my classes and support on a number of occasions since I started teaching and this has given me some helpful hints and tips along the way. I was always concerned about having to ‘sell’, this is not something that would come naturally to me but what I was told during my training has proved to be true – the classes sell themselves. And this is my experience so far – once a nursery has observed my classes they typically want to sign up for regular sessions. So I am busier than I expected to be, which is a great thing. On a practical level, I’m learning the names of all the children in my classes – over 100 kids a week! – and have built some really good relationships with them and the nursery staff in general. My job is hugely rewarding as the children are delighted to see me when I arrive and I have already seen some real progress in their movement and knowledge of muscles. As a mum of 2, I also have enough time to deal with the administrative side of things – invoices, booking in new demos, general book-keeping – without being too over-stretched. I can honestly say that I haven’t looked back once and am looking forward to building on what I already have as the weeks go on. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my business venture. “
